<VV> lifts

I bought a BendPak 12000 pound free wheel lift from...
http://www.asedeals.com
Massive overkill, but extremely nice and handy. Instead of cables, this
lift uses a series of timing chains on steroids. Instead of optional
rolling jacks, this lift has a scissor lift jack in each of its runways.
With this lift, I am detailing areas under the raffle car that would be next
to impossible without it.
Please consider buying raffle tickets...the car is turning out very
nice...to the tune of at least $8500 and counting...you name it and it's
probably new!

Subject: <VV> lifts
Has anyone on the list purchased one of those "home hobbyist" car lifts?
Saw
a good deal on one at a recent car show and it would work with a
Corvair.
Getting to a point that crawling around under the car is getting tougher
to do. I
would imagine they would be good for brake work, oil changes and
probably even
dropping an engine. Your thoughts?
