Gino -
Hope you don't mind my forwarding this inquiry to the list - I haven't done
any performance modifications, but there are many racers on VV who,
collectively, will have the best answers for you, and who will, I hope, POST
their replies to you for the benefit of all of us.
Not wanting to come in last place again seems a modest-enough goal.
I'll bet at least one of us will give you the magic tip!
If you can describe the race (course, length, types of turns, road
surface, etc.), it will probably help our racing gurus. If doing this
challenges your English too much, consider getting help from Daniel
Monasterio (copy addressee of this message), who (I say) will be happy to
translate. Daniel is a Corvair enthusiast in Mexico.
