Having a remote location for the oil pressure sender supplied by
a braided hose sounds great. I would also want to add a sender
for an oil temp. gauge. Would it be best to have an oil temp.
sender in a location where there is a constant flow of oil going
over it though instead of a remote location where it only sees
stagnant oil? Thanks.

You really need to measure the temperature of the oil that is going into the
bearings. If you have a cooler, you need to know the outlet temp. The temp in
the sump doesn't mean much. About the only benefit is you would know when the
temp is high enough to really run the motor hard. - Seth
