Don't use sealer.   Use plain old fashioned grease, or rather the synthetic
high tech grease they make today, which is rapidly becoming the modern era
old fashioned grease.  Pack it in, plop the glass/gasket into place and
"walk" the gasket around the frame lip etc. then wipe the excess grease off
of everything afterwards.  Works for me... and it evidently worked for the
factory because that's what they used.
