The PB Blaster AND your hammering will eventually work its magic. I didn't
count the number of blows required, but it's over a hundred (each).
Just keep it up. It'll come. Your arms WILL be tired (and your ears,
too).

Subject: <VV> removing front spring

A while back, I asked about cutting coils on the front of a late. Well, I've
finally gotten around to doing it, but I can't seem to get the lower ball
joint to let go so I can get the spring out. I followed what the shop manual
said and got stopped where it says to back it with a hammer and tap with
another hammer to loosen it, then lower the jack. Well I've tapped as hard
as I can and it is not moving. Right now I've got both sides to the same
point and have the lower ball joints soaking in PB Blaster.

Any suggestions? Will the PB Blaster eventually work its magic?

Thanks,
