It's been my experience that neither PB Blaster nor a torch nor any other
such aid will make it come loose. The secret is cussing. Back off the nut,
be sure the spring is pushing on the arm, and start banging and cussing. It
goes like this.
Wang, Wang, cuss. Wang, Wang, cuss louder. Repeat until exhausted. Cuss.
Tap once more weakly in desperation. Clunk.
Bigger hammer MIGHT help. I use a 4 lb sledge as the backup hammer so it
doesn't bounce around as much.
