<VV> Wheels / Tire swap and front disc brakes

Here is a link to pictures I took of Bart Frye's 500 at the Columbus
Goodguys National a couple of years ago. There were no mods to the body that
I could see. According to the article in the December 2002 Super Chevy
Magazine, the wheels are 18x7 in the front, with 4" backspace and 18x10's in
the rear and 4 7/8" backspace. Tires are 225/40 and 285/40. Also from the
mag, there were extensive modifications to the suspension to fit the wheels,
including narrowing the rear suspension and adding air bags. Super Chevy
also says it still has the original 110 ci engine (GGG) and powerglide.
