<VV> 62 Spyder engine assistance

Kevin..welcome to the group!  As you can tell many / most are in Lexington, 
Ky.  for the Convention..

Valve adjust......just like any Chevy v8.....COLD....rotate to TDC # 1   
adjust rocker until the pushrod [ hole on side of PR towards rocker!] FEELS there 
is NO  clearance...no more!  the lifters have a "spring" inside...do not let 
this compress!

Then tighten 1/2 -3/4 of a turn more....[  usually there are 3-4 thrads 
showing on the rocker stud....]

Then go to #2  etc...   do it once  forget it!  then run engine for at least 
1 hr. to make sure ALL  lifters are pumped up...even drive it easy before 
re-adjusting......if you do not "rev" it over 30000...you won't hurt anything...
