I second what Smitty says about the air chisel. Don't go too cheap, though! I bought a piece of crap for $10, ended up throwing it away and buying an Ingersol Rand for $32. I did my floors the hard way, with a hammer and a chisel, before I discovered what a great tool an air chisel is for separating panels.
