None of my business, but why these springs? Why not vendor springs or 
aftermarket ones designed for the Corvair and the OT30? 

Also you didn't mention whether the installed height was set to specs (this 
sets the seat pressure). With an OT30 you probably want 100 to 115 lbs seat 
pressure.

It might be an idea to have some other Corvair racers test drive your car to 
get their impressions of this problem.
