Subject: <VV> Installing Turbo Engine in a Monza
-------------Many Snips---------------
Smitty says:
1) Fuel return line: It really matters not how you go about getting
the fuel back to the tank. I found the easiest way was to braze a small
tube into the middle of a 5/16 tube and splice it into the rubber hose
where the fuel line comes out if the tank.
2) Wiring harness: The Turbo wiring harness is the same as the 110/95
harness except that it has wire to the tach, thermister, and overheat
buzzer added.
3) Tail pipe: There is nothing critical about the tailpipe except that
it must exit from under the car. Fairly tight radius bends will not
matter to a street car. Any muffler supply house can bend you up one.
4) Gas Tank: Gas tanks are no fun but I question how badly you want to do
the swap if that will stall you out. My suggestion is, pull it, Do the
fuel return right, and change that 40 year old brake line over the top of
it while you are there. Best of luck
