If you put it together correctly...and measured the clearance....you're ok...

Even if you didn't measure....if it spins preely....inch LB.   of torque to 
rotate...you're OK...

Todd possibly got a bad bearing.....or it slipped when being installed....if 
he'd only left "well enough" alone! gggg
