<VV> Solid Flywheel, good or bad

Thanks for all your input.   I've owned my 66' w/140, & 4spd.  for three years but I'm still a rookie.
I always thought I had some vibration in the 3000-4000 rpm range but thought that was normal.
This is the first and only Corvair I've ever driven so I don't have anything to compare it to.  In fact,
I've only ridden in two others, one was my brothers 65' and that was back in the seventies.  The
other was an EM so it doesn't count.  I have learned that much.  Just kidding, I wanted to see 
if I could get the EM guys worked up.  I'm already replacing the clutch so I might as well replace
the flywheel while I've got it apart.  If it smooth out I'll know it was the flywheel.  When replacing the
flywheel, clutch, & pressure plate is it necessary to balance everything?

Also, when I put everything back together I'll have to replace the gear lube in the tranny and differential.
What type of Lube does everyone recommend?
