<VV> Solid Flywheel, good or bad

When I put a solid on my 140hp manual, it caused intolerable vibration (I
had not had anything balanced). If you've been using your solid without
this, I say carry on BUT if you take your flywheel off, make SURE you put it
back on in the same index position (vis a vis the crankshaft). It may well
be that the balance of your rotating assembly will be lost if you don't. I'd
say the same of your clutch.
If the rotating assembly has been balanced before, you may find scribe
marks already in place to align. Look for this on your hardware. It will
tell you a story you may otherwise not learn. If you don't find one, make
your own.
