"The Classic Corvair" by Bob Helt,"The Corvair Decade" by Tony Fiore, and 
the applicable (by year)  chassis shop and body service manuals.  For the 
dedicated, I also recommend the SAE paper 140C and GM stock engine test 
booklets (engine dyno test).
