<VV> Cold Valve Adjust - another take

After 3 futile attempts (twice too tight, and once too loose) at a cold valve 
adjustment, I finally re-read the manual and Ken Hand's recurring note on the 
subject, and think I stumbled onto the "tricks" - which are (for me) to have 
oily fingers when checking the movement/turn of the pushrod, and to ensure 
that the lifters are "pumped up" before starting. No need to rotate the engine 
more than once to get them all this way. Final attempt was successful.
