I guess I must like to live dangerously.

I carry a spare fan belt, a bag of tools, a quart of oil and some paper towels.

And if I get the chance I will drive my Corvairs wherever I want. I don't see what the big deal is actually. Almost every spare part listed except the belt and fuel pump give a warning before they fail. And I don't worry about the pump since I use electric exclusively.
