Kirk,
For some reason the 64-66 Corvair came with a half inch steering shaft,
which is not common to any other GM models. As far as I know, Clarks is the
only place that has Grant installation kits for those orphan years. It costs
about twice what Summit charges for their kits, but it is a whole lot easier
than changing the steering column.
So order the wheel from Summit and the installation kit from Clarks and let
us know how cool it is when you have it done.
