The Mid America Ultra Monza is making progress slowly. At the Juna Tuna a
freshly painted yellow fan and pulley and a refurbished black shroud were
installed along with a set of Seth's yellow wires were installed. The
removing and replacing of the carbs disturbed some of the crud in a fuel
bowl, depositing a flake of rust in the driver's side main jet. The carbs
were pulled and kitted, everything is running smoothly. Steve got the
throttle pressure adjusted properly and is once again a shifty guy.
Now that the interior and engine compartment is spiffy the next phase will
be the bodywork and paint. Steve has ordered the necessary patch panels.
Lee Olsen had a NOS front chin and made a deal with Steve.
Steve displayed Burt (the '64 Monza MAUM) at the local Pep Boys parking lot
show on the Fourth of July.
Bodywork should start in the next week or two.
