>From what I can see, and I am not 100% sure of what I am seeing, it looks like the Rod journals and rod bearings are not in good health after 200 miles. Best I can surmise is that the machine shop that pressed on the pistons didn't bother to re-size the rods. The knock came from cylinder #4, and it already has a sliver of copper showing on one edge of the bearing. 

At this point Eric has spoken to Clarks, and since the crank kit was purchased 7 years ago, they told him that they won't stand behind it. After what I saw, I am not sure it was anything that their crank rebuilder did anyway. I am not enough of an expert to say for certain. 

Crank is still in the case, but the mains seem to have no defect.   

Plan: A local machine shop of good repute will likely be getting the rods and crank this week. polish out the journals, resize the rods, then we will  plastigauge both rods and mains again just to be sure, then replace rod bearings and re-assemble, put back in the car, and try again.
