Well, what I thought was just some "minor" rust turns
out to be much more than that.  I decided to pull the
rocker trim off the 67 Cvt today, and found some
little holes.  So I poked a bit and the little holes
turned into a crumbling mess.  Take a look at the fist
two pictures here:

Now I'm not so sure this thing was/is safe to drive.
Please, give me your opinion.
