<VV> Performance Engine Mods

Here's a challenge for you performance engine folks.  I'd like suggestions
on modifying an engine for better performance on the street.  The engine is
currently in excellent condition (25,000 actual miles), but it's a '69 140hp
smog engine.  Here are some things I'm considering:
  --  High squish combustion chamber mods by Ray Sedman
  --  Hypereutectic or forged pistons
  --  Higher compression
  --  Safeguard to go with the above.
  --  Streetable performance cam
  --  Roller rockers
  --  Headers

Other ideas or comments?  What priority?
