<VV> A 60 2door and a 61 Lakewood for sale

At our Vegas Vairs club meeting this past Weds. a gentlemen joined us with a
few pictures of a 60 2 door his brother owns that is for sale. Trouble is, he
claims it is th 800th Corvair built and I believe the 2 door wasn't built til
later in the run. Is that correct? The reason I haven't passed the info on the
car to this list is I was waiting to get more info about it. I tried to call
him but he hasn't returned my messages. If you are interested, his number in
Vegas is 702-453-4600 or 702-453-5800. The pictures he shared are dated bact
to July of 2000 and are only external shots. He hasn't a clue what it is worth
but without inspecting the car, we would not offer any opinions. If anyone is
interested, perhaps one of our club members would check the car out for you.
Let me know and I'll pass on a couple of names.
Since I live in the Bullhead City, Arizona area, the local newspaper has an ad
for a 1961 Lakewood. I have not called on this one yet but I'm not in a hurry
since their asking price is $3250. Pretty steep since it also states "motor
needs work". I may call them today to get more details if anyone is
interested.
