Jeff - - -If I understand your problem correctly, you might try using a 
Dremel tool and deepen the groove enough to be able to use a screwdriver to adjust 
the screw.  If your adjustment is too close to do this, i'm sure someone has a 
parts steering box that could provide you with the screw.  Good luck - -
