<snip>Thanks to all who responded.  Seth mentioned that all modern badges are 
peel and stick, which simplifies the peg location problem as well as the 
casting process.  I can make a flat one sided mold for the V8 emblems and bend the 
resulting casting to fit the curve of the lid<unsnip>

Don't forget to make the badge big enough to cover the wide 140 badge holes 
as well as the tall diagonal 65 turbo and late 110 holes.
