And Porsche used production Corvair engines for cooling studies in the
development of their 6-cylinder air-cooled engine (again, according to Bob
Benzinger).

Sorry, but this isn't true. Chevrolet used Porsche bodies for Corvair engine
testing, per Bob Benzinger (Corvair engine engineer)
