I'm not banned from Advance as a customer, just as an employee. I was told
that I lacked good customer service skills...
What the facts were is when they bought out WA, I was an hourly manager, and
made more money that Advance Store Manager made per year, without adding in
my bonuses.
The guys who were General Managers of the big stores in Charlotte made more
money than Advance regional vice presidents made. They just couldn't have
that.
When the buyout took place there were 27 managers for WA in the city of
Charlotte, 6 stores. By the time I was canned (8 months later) there were 3
left with the company.
.Got a customer service award from Ford and from GM. Had several from
Western Auto before Retard bought it out.....
What I lacked was a tolerance for the companies bullshit....It's damn hard
to stand behind a counter and sell someone a starter or an alternator you
know is a worthless piece of junk, and the guy will be back between an hour
or a week from now wanting to cram the part in your behind, like it's your
fault.
