John,
IN many cases, being able to compare the "guts" of a cheap one and a good
one (in electrical parts) can tell one hell of a story.
When I worked for Western Auto, Wells technical specialists would come to Va
Beach x2 yearly to train us on how to properly test components, and give
general training. If you look at the guts of a cheapie Ford "Brain Box"
(used on late 70's - mid 80's--at least) cars and trucks, and one of theirs,
a night and day difference.
Be careful John, becoming a member of the Hank Fan Club brings undue
attention.<G>
Hank
