<VV> Severe Hesitation

I recently got restarted working on my '65 Monza (110 hp PG) and seem to 
have eliminated a LOT of my engine problems with an electronic ignition.  
But I still have a severe hesitation when I attempt to acelerate quickly,
e.g. WOT.  

The carbs are 'Major Supplier' rebuilds, that have very few miles, but the car
has been semi-dormant.  I suspect accelerator pumps dried up, but was 
wondering what else to check.  It seems like I had the same problem before
the electronic ignition and rebuilt carbs, only it was masked by poor spark,
hence overall rough running.
