Standing on the bell housing so you can turn the crank about once every 6 mos. I had one in my garage 10 years till needed. put in corvair and started driving.. they do not spoil

I have a freshly removed, but not needed in the immediate future, 110 motor.

What is the best way to prepare it for storage.  Inside a garage and 
outside under cover.
