Well if it was an 80's Jaguar XJ6 the exterior color would be Cobalt Blue

I would think a maroon might look good. If you are looking at something other than a purely stock color, try a 
maroon with a gold metallic (believe the color on my car came from a late `70s or early `80s Chrysler.
