At http://www.davemorris.com/Photos/Karlsruhe%20Trip/Autobahn.mpg you can
see a short clip I shot of a 93 mph cruise on the Autobahn between
Karlsruhe and Stuttgart back in May, going mostly uphill. Notice the little
car that whizzes past me near the beginning of the clip. In Germany it is
against the law not to carry a first aid kit in your car. And on the
Autobahn, there is no such thing as a minor accident.
