To hot wire:
There is a two prong plug in the left front of the engine compartment
that goes to the starter. Insert a nail or straightened paper clip into
the side of the plug with one wire. Use a starter push button with
alligator clips to connect the battery (+) side to the paper clip
connection in the plug. When you push the button, the starter should
turn over. If not, either the paper clip is not making contact, or is in
the wrong side of the plug. It won't hurt anything if it is in the wrong
side, it is just energizing the coil.
To start the engine, connect another wire from the (+) side of the
battery to the (+) side of the coil. Now the engine will have ignition
and once started, will run until the wire is removed.
