no flame....
This is something I've never understood......I've always valued my life more
than a job, etc...
But I've always had 2 vehicles.....which is much more expensive nowadaZe!
My 1st "hotrod" was a deathtrap..but I gave into my buds orders to go
cruise......6 blocks and I was able to break it bigtime...gggg
While in the Army / Kansas..I saw more vehicles that I would NOT drive..let
alone ride in....and most passed the base inspection...
And I'm a guy who has never rebuilt anything..always just repairs the BAD
item....
Case in point; 3 of us bought a '61 Dart.....same malady...steering skipped
if cornering .....body felt like it would fall off the frame..if it had one
50 cents at the local yard bought the steeringbox top plate / sector adjuster
bolt [ ball was broken off! ] and $4 bought 4 new shocks from Western
Auto...
The other 2 started fighting about who got to "keep" it!! AH the 60's!!
