<VV> Headlight aiming

I feel sure this has been covered many times before, but there is so much good
information posted that my brain can't remember it all.

I have a 67 coupe that I have restored, and in so doing I removed the
headlight buckets, backing plates etc.  I now need to adjust the headlights
and I cannot find anyone in town that has what it takes to do this.  Seems all
new cars come with adjustment bubble things built in.  I need to know the
backyard procedure for adjusting them, both up and down and left to right etc.
My driveway is not level enough to get accurate settings, but I suppose I can
find one someplace if someone can tell me how.  Thanks.
