<VV> Hypoid lube - GL-4 vs GL-5 - searching archives?

Bob.

     Thanks for the answer to a question I was just thinking to ask. I began,
recently, to use Pennzoil Gearplus 80W-90 GL-5 which "meets or exceeds GL-5
and MT-1 especifications" and was wondering if it could, eventually, affect
the synchronizers.

<<Just get an 80W90 lube that has both GL-4 and GL-5 listed opn the container.
A better alternate would be a lube listing both GL-5 and MT-1. That's an
ideal. Available at all FLAPS. No need to search either archives or
availability.
