<VV> eBay Feedback - is it about the product or how fast
someone ships or pays ? Tell me about the product !

Notice that eBay makes you feel downright evil if you try to leave even
"Neutral" feedback, and warns you that it can't be retracted, etc.
They don't warn you about the evils of leaving undeserved "Positive"
feedback that misleads the next potential customer.
Many people leave undeserved "Positive" feedback because they don't want to
say anything bad, and so they want to find something nice to say.
Buyers and sellers alike leave feedback like "Fast Shipper" which I suppose
is important, but what about the actual product ????? Was it any good.
Try emailing the customers from the seller's feedback list and ask them
their honest opinion. I have done this and found that some actually hated
the product but didn't want to say so because they were too nice to leave
"Negative" feedback ! These are nice people who are OK in that respect, but
who mislead future customers.
Remember that you can respond to feedback and make excuses for their
"Negative" feedback
Also, even getting someone to retract "Negative" feedback does no good
because the "Negative" feedback is still there for everyone to see, but it
just says "retracted" ! Big help that is !
Soooo, just venting, - eBay will get away with it until someone else
competes with them, and they have to change - profit is their only
incentive.
Happy Corvairs to you,
Chaz
