<VV> right hand mirror-early Vert

Hi all,

I'm ready to drill the mounting holes for a right side door mirror for my 64 convertible.  I recall that on some cars the right hand mirror isn't always positioned the same as the drivers side mirror.  I checked the service manual, the assembly manual and the corsa tech guide and did not find any data.  

Is the right side mirror mounted in the same position as the left side mirror?

Oh by the way I'm back from Kuwait and Iraq and is the weather nice and cool around here!
