Mark the A/C pulley which is fastened to the center next to the scribe
between the center and outer pulley ring of the harmonic balancer with
fingernail polish or something-mark the scribe mark too. You can then
visually tell if it slips...

Unfortunately, I find it impossible to check my harmonic balancer without
removing the pulley for the A/C. Has anyone similarly afflicted (A/C) worked
out a way to check the harmonic balancer? Mine's pretty new, so I proceed on
faith for now.
