Hello Rick,



I'm Jaak (Jack) Eijkelenberg of the Netherlands in Europe and do own a Corv8.
Also I'm a Corsa Member and I'm going to attend the Circle City Corvair Club
meeting in Indianapolis in the weekend of September 17th - 19th . After this
show I'm going to the Meeting in Kingsport Tennesse ( September 24th - 25th )



Sorry to bother you but I do have a problem with my car. A former Chevrolet
Corvair from 11-30-1965  which has been rebuild as a Corv8. I do hope you or
maybe somebody else can help me out with this problem.



In 1994 an acquaintance imported this Corv8 into the Netherlands.

I have bought the car about 2 years ago from him and know I'm trying to get
him true the car inspection.

I have got already all the papers of my acquaintance but still miss some
important documents



I was wondering if maybe you can help me out with it or give me some tips,
email addresses where to go to get all the information about this car.



The only few information that I do have is what I do have on a document of the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Transportation from 12-01-1970.

On that document I do have a name from the owner at that time.

Mr. Albert N. Haverstadt Jr, 3 Kathwood Lane, Wayne PA 19087

Also I do have a piece of paper of the person who had sold this car to my
acquaintance and that is Mr. Danny Givarz from 7067 W. Bradshaw CT, Frederick,
MD 21701 with as phone number 301-698-1344.

Mr Danny Givarz sold this car to Mr Scholten on the 10-08-1993.



The details that I do need to get my car true the inspection are:

A certificate that the car has been driven as a Corv8 in the United States.

And a copy the document of the licence plate. I do have the original plate in
my possession it's a Maryland Historic plate with as plate number 493 52L
with the last year number on it from 12/94 0629030

So I can show them here to the people who are doing the Car inspection in the
Netherlands. So they on their turn can give me their approval for this car to
drive it here in the Netherlands.



Thank you for reading my cry for help. I do hope that you or maybe somebody
else can help me out with this so soon I can start driving my Corv8 instead of
letting him stand abandoned in a garage.
