<VV> Gas lines and u-joints on the Resurrection

I'm ordering the parts necessary to begin putting the 110 back in the
Corvair. We are going to replace the gas tank and lines in the tunnel.
I'm ordering the ultimate kit with the tank sealer. I'm not even
taking the slightest chance with the original line as it probably has
crud all through it. I was going to talk to the old boys at Clark's to
see if there is anything special about the gas line that they carry or
if I would do just as well with line that I can get locally. We have a
tube bender and flare-end kit so shaping it shouldn't be an enormous
problem. I also want to go ahead and replace the universal joints
while I have the engine out of the car. My second question arose when
I was looking at the u-joints that Clark's offers. They have the Heavy
Duty version for $11.25 and the Performance Quality (for use with high
torque engines like V-8's) for $11.25. I figure, what the hay, as long
as there the same price, why not get a little heavier duty version?
This will be a street car that will be kept under 70 (mostly) and will
see about 5-10 K miles a year of use. Opinions?

P.S. I haven't forgotten about the long story on the Resurrection.
I'm still putting it together and will publish it soon. Pictures may
have to wait awhile longer.
