<VV> Differential swap question

A friend of mine has a '63 Monza with a 102/4sp that has lunched the
differential (oil leaked out somewhere).  I have a transaxle from a [don't
recall what year] 80/3sp FC lying around.  My question is, will the
differential from the 3 speed bolt up to the 4 speed without modification?
I'm trying to get him out of it cheap but if there are issues then we'd
rather not waste the time and effort trying it.  Thanks!
