well the latest glitch in the job im doing on a 65 deluxe greenbrier, is a
broken tap found after cleaning greasey aluminum paint off the tranny. i took
the mount off because it was missing one bolt and wanted to clean it/sanblast it
anyhow. after all the other "issues" i have found on this vehicle, imagine my
surprise to find a broken tap instead of broken bolt i was expecting. now do
i risk blowing it out with torch? or risk just putting the 2 bolts back, and
running it hoping they dont break? not only is it broken , but it looks crooked
to boot. its has been one thing after another on this otherwise fine looking
vehicle. of course pictures on request... regards , tim colson
