Details, Details! Always about details. When you drive around the Hampton
Roads area, it isn't so much about how many miles you drive as it is about
how long you spend in your car to get where you are going. How many red
lights did you run, how many rear end collisions did you avoid, how many
times did you get flicked off, how many minutes did you waste due to the
perpetual construction on the highway, etc.
I suppose to satisfy all you purists I'll have to so something drastic, like
actually pay attention to my miles driven and gas consumed! Of course, that
will distract me from the pure pleasure of driving fast with the top down on
my 40 year old ratty car the color of pine pollen with my tie flapping
around my ears while all the drivers of the new and shiny SUVs around me a
gawk as I pass by them on my way to work.
Picky picky!
