<VV> 140 secondary carbs

I've never managed to get my secondaries to not draw a little at idle.
They've got the proper springs in their accelerator-pump wells, too. Driven
thousands of happy miles that way. Obviously, there are limits to how much
draw you can get away with, but my message is: at least a little. Probably.

Subject: <VV> 140 secondary carbs

I just put the car back on the road after 20 years. 3 months of prep
work done. Runs well BUT the two secondary carbs (not rebuilt) draw a
little vacuum. I'll pull them tomorrow and be sure the throttle plates
are centered and closed. Outside of that, any suggestions?? The
secondaries are true secondaries on this 140 '66 PG. Even the carb tags
are on all four.
