<VV> little scrap-o-panel needed

I've been replacing the rusted out metal at the back of the right front
wheel well on my car (LM) with the panel that the vendors sell, and I've hit
a snag.  I had to remove more metal than the panel covers in order to repair
some rust at the wheel well seam, so I cut out a piece about three inches
high by five inches wide right above the point that the repro panel covers
(and toward the front of the car).   I've been trying to fabricate my own
patch, but it's a difficult piece to get right.  If anyone has something
lying around that would work here, please contact me!
