John,  if you do that with any modern oil, SD-SJ rated, you'll find the same thing.....even itf you change oil every 10-15k  miles...

My '93 S-15 Jimmy  with 240k  proves that...

PS   ALL  "SJ" rated oils have synthectics in them.....only way ANY oil can meet the specs.. even at $0.79 qt.!
