Looking for some information and ideas.

Yesterday I posted that my brother is bringing my two corvairs down from
Iowa to Texas for me. They are towing the 65 on the trailer as it isn't in
running condition right now, and they are driving the 69.

They called this morning. They made it to Stillwater OK last night. Last
night after they got gas the car developed a miss in one cylinder. They said
they drove it about 100 miles last night to get to where they needed to get and
the miss didn't get any worse, but it was missing. This morning, they pulled
the coil wire and turned the engine over and they could hear a hissing of air.
Sounds like maybe a broke valve spring or a stuck valve. What do you think?

Obviously, I don't think I should have them drive it, I don't want to damage
it any more. What do you think about that?

I will probably have to head to Stillwater and bring it back after renting a
trailer. Any ideas about a flatbed versus a tow dolly? Can you tow a Corvair
at speed with a tow dolly with the front end up without hurting it? Thanks
for a quick reply, I got to head north soon.
