The question was:  "What is the perfect engine for a V-8 Corvair?"

I have a 283 in my Crown car, and while it is lots of fun, I keep thinking
of Seth's idea of using a truck 307.  With a 4 bolt main and a 3 inch stoke
crank, it would pretty much be a bullet proof 283 - add twin turbos and efi
and turn a fun car into a really fun car.  Better add some bigger brakes...
