The museum deal is being discussed but that's all. I agree the 283 is a pretty good match for the rest of the drive train but really, IMHO, the aluminum block should be in a museum not in the back of my car. Just what should be there is the question. I wouldn't be too surprised if it ends up being an all aluminum 350 with the Webers, but time will tell. Dreaming about the next step is half the fun.
I have a few leftover Crown pieces if you can't find something.

That is too Awesome Paul!!! Congratulations!
Hmmm, I read that you'll be placing your mouse motor in a museum. Well, the
uest for more power never ends, as they say. Still, it is a sweet match for the
ar and I wonder if you won't miss the high-revving rascal.
Finally got my car out of the weed patch and pushed into the shop to begin work.
t is a bit of a mess after sitting under the sun for the past 8-9 years. I am
ollecting all the bits and pieces I have stashed away in various areas (garage,
n my home, shed, etc.) and trying to accout for everything.
I will take a picture of the Cidco rear as you'd requested as soon as I get it
nearthed. Meanwhile, I may try to PM you a pic or two of the car if I can. Not
eal sure how to do that yet...
Regards,
evin Baxter
